What should I wear?
We dress casually at Solomon’s Porch. Pastor Jason might wear jeans one Sunday and slacks the next. Unless he loses a bet (Disclaimer: Solomon’s Porch does not promote gambling), he will not be wearing a suit. The truth is, if you show up in clothes, you’ll fit right in.
What about my kids?
We have something for kids of all ages. The Backyard is the name of our Kid’s ministry, which is led by our kid’s pastors, Roger and Lacey George. Your kids will stay with you during worship, then between the end of worship and the start of the message you’ll be able to take your child to their respective class.
What time and how long do your meetings last?
We start at 10:30 AM and will meet for approximately an hour and a half, sometimes shorter. Pastor Jason does his best to keep his messages around thirty minutes. He grew up under long winded preachers (This is in no way a shot at his dad. Ok, maybe a little) and understands that longer doesn’t necessarily mean better.
Why do you meet in a hotel?
That’s a great question. The answer is quite simple, as a church plant we don’t have our own building yet. Besides, the Hyatt has been great to us, the location is ideal, and our church has elevators. Who could pass that up?
